My artistic practice is based on a variety of approaches ranging from experiments with color, form and movement to snapshots of my mental and emotional flow. Although improvisation and coincidence play a vital role in the initial phases of my paintings and drawings, their closure always involves high levels of control aimed at balancing the composition. In my photographs, on the other hand, my focus remains on randomness, ambiguity and fluidity. In other words, my oeuvre relies on the tension between randomness and intention, control and liberation, intellectual structuring and free association.
